Setting up a client’s show for them
You can make your clients' onboarding process simple by setting up their show (podcast) for them in SureTake. Once the client has accepted your invitation to the studio, locate them under Manage Clients. Open the show you want to configure (“My Podcast Studio” is the default for new users), and you'll see the same settings they have available in their own dashboard.
Show name, artwork, and host
Set the show name (the podcast's actual name), upload its artwork, and set the host's name. These appear in various places, including guest invite emails and the pre-join page while guests wait to be admitted to the recording session.
A client-side notification (optional)
Each show can also carry its own notification email, which the client might use to loop in an assistant or other personnel to be notified when they've completed a new recording. This is separate from your studio's own notifications, and you don't need to set up anything here for your studio. If the client is working with you, they often won't need it, but the option is there.
Guest and producer links
Every show has a reusable guest link which you can drop into a scheduling tool such as Calendly to invite guests to record. You can also create a reusable producer link to join the session yourself without being recorded. Anyone with the producer link can enter the session with producer permissions, so be careful who receives it. You can reset or remove the producer link if you ever need to revoke the permissions.
If a client has more than one show, each one has its own separate settings and links, so set them up individually.
