Getting notified about client recordings

There are two types of notifications: what your studio receives, and what a client sets up for themselves.

Studio side

When a client's recording finishes, you can be notified two ways: an email to your studio notification address, and/or a webhook into your own tools (Zapier, Make, Descript, Slack, etc.). Each is toggled independently per client in Manage Clients, so you can email one client, webhook another, do both, or neither.

Client side

Separately, a client can add their own notification email on a show, for example to loop in a VA. The two sides are independent, so any combination can be active at once. For the webhook option, see the Webhooks & Automations guide.
